Our brief was to design a new lifestyle magazine, which would promote the best in arts, design and architecture from Baltic states.
We think that Modernism is much more than Helvetica and Geometric shapes. It is approach to life in which clarity, simplicity and honesty are the prime elements, without loosing elegance and sophistication.
Launching a new niche independent print magazine when everyone is talking about death of print can be a challenge. Content wise – it is a lifestyle magazine which features art, design and architecture from luxury brands to small artisans, designers & makers.
This made us do a careful research into contemporary publishing – not only looking at latest trends, but also finding economic solutions for the magazine.
